If Bielsa thought it would work, he’d do it.

Thomas Frank must have struggled to keep a straight face on the phone to Kev. His trajectory does not align with ours at the moment, to pretend otherwise is unrealistic. If true, at least they asked.

It’s going to end up being someone really really desperate isn’t it.

I don't watch much football any more, but surely there must be some promising younger managers in the lower leagues ala Moyes when we first got him. I think we are down anyway, so it it makes more sense to appoint someone for the long haul, rather than managers who have already failed in the prem.

I posted similar in another thread, but the fact it appears to be Moshiri who is leading this search for a new manager, and Bielsa seems to be his choice, scares the living hell out of me.

Why Moshiri is involved with the recruitment of the manager truly baffles me. Football decisions should be left to the football people at the club, in this instance Thelwell, assisted by Sharp (well that was the whole reason Sharp was brought in wasn’t it, to offer advice on our “football strategy”?!).

I can see this whole process being a spectacular balls-up, again.

Feel that’s your issue straight away.

He’s already a tough candidate, if he needs a ridiculous amount of guarantees which we’re certain to not fulfill were managerless again.

So who’s more trust worthy? Mokbel or Pete O Rourke

O'Rourke has good sources in the lower divisions, but his Prem stuff has always been spotty

Mokbel is good with London-based stuff, but is more in tune with the Prem than EFL. So, I'm leaning him
