Probably the most long winded ‘ripping away’ that’s ever occurred. A ripping away that left you savouring the work of ol’Gravy Nips for 6 months. A ripping away that is bizarre considering he’d been sacked. Like ripping away a chocolate bar from a kid to find an empty wrapper and it already finished.

Clown.

we have to get behind him now, we have seen how bad it can be by having big sam. hopefully this is the right step in the right direction. both Brands and Silva will start day 1 together and they will have a plan
...on how to screw as much money out of us in as short a time frame as possible. Fat Sam and Koeman have set a high bar!

Our new manager who likes to play attacking Football and has a ferocious Work Ethic. Welcome Marco. Get Goodison rocking again.
I suspect this will not go down too well with some of our 'senior pros'; I hope they don't down tools...they have plenty of previous...

Haha, aww come on guys I’m only messing!

I have never had a problem with your club or your fans - @davek aside perhaps! - and I think we all knew this day was coming once we had disposed of his services, for whatever reasons. Trust me, I’ve been very prepared for the comments once his appointment was confirmed. I’m sure our owners haven’t been ‘jogged on’ as the appointment could have been made weeks ago and it surely aludes to legal conversations having taken place. Who knows what the results of those were - I doubt we’ll ever know until yearly financial reports are disclosed.

You’ve got your man. Do I agree with how you did it? No. But that doesn’t matter to you guys and why should it - the ends justify the means. I was gutted when you first came in for him because I saw the beginnings of something great with him at WFC. But make no mistake, when the team were fighting for him, they managed to paper over the cracks in his tactics which I’m sure would have been ironed out had he stayed committed. But once the players knew he was no longer fighting their corner, it very quickly went wrong and soured to the point where no WFC fan was sad to see him leave. We knew we could have had it great under his tutelage but he went down a path where he could never recover the mistakes made, even if he wanted to. So it’s not sour grapes. I think he’s a good fit for your club. My expectations are that if he can keep his eyes on your club solely, he’ll do well.

I wish you luck for next season for your fans. I hope you do well. But by the same token, I hope you struggle because it would give me great pleasure to see him fail. I don’t say that spitefully against your club, as I’m sure you’d understand you’d feel the same if roles were reversed.

Bowing out now. Have a great summer, enjoy the WC and we await to welcome you and the Snake at VR next season.

I've hated you since the moment you signed up

You've been put well in your place by numerous posters on here, with much sharper wit than myself

I don't believe a word of what you just typed and I hope Watford go down and never return

Take your faux and slimy wishes of luck with you and never darken our forum again

Prick

Hope he goes for a blend of youthful exuberance and a touch of experienced snide. Pace and attacking football.
Flying wingers and a right horrible snide in the midfield.
