We're after the league, and we're after the cup.
Everton’s on the up and up!

The story that is Everton from the days of Dixie Dean
The story we will carry on for the glory of our team
In every land and continent wherever football's known
We'll play the game that's Everton and bring the honours home

Everton, Everton, we're forever Everton,
All for one, one for all,
Everton's the team that plays beautiful football,
Everton's the team that plays beautiful football!

He saved 59 billion shots at Sunderland though.

We stuffed them 3-0 away, apart from his MOTD saves his positional sense was awful for 2 of our goals

I had my doubts
He'll do for now like. We have more urgent needs. However, competition for him in the meantime would be nice.

Genuinely delighted with this, I'm getting good vibes from our new overlords Marcel and Marco.

What with Liverpool on the deck and humiliated and us with our new people in on the playing side, I think we can afford to breathe a little easier now and even hope we've turned a corner.

Absolutely right. He's got 3 years, no more knee jerk. It'll be tough to shape this team, treading water will be a good start and playing some decent football. While I've been a big fan of some of the old guard, they need shipping out, which is always a tough ask when people want to cling into their status.

We seem to have a clear plan and direction with Brands in post, so let's allow the manager some time and give him the support.
We defo are pointing in the right direction at last. Just need a fair wind behind us and see where it takes us.

watford fan just said this to me "He’ll have Everton playing attractive free flowing football. Interesting to see how it works with Brands because Silva likes complete control. His eye for detail is ridiculous bordering obsessive. The players will love him but you concede and score a bucket load of goals"-when i said to him ive seen he watches everything in details from throws to whatever etc

The key will be the transition from current crop to a new style and mentality. Culture change is the key. While they've served us well, the old guard have been too keen to take an easy path and not rock the boat so to speak. I'd like to see some leadership in the team, pushing on the youngsters and demanding more. We won't get that from Jagielka, Baines, Williams et al.
