Well that's Gana effed then isn't it:

“4-3-3, I can tell you," Silva said, when asked how Everton play set up under him.

“Of course, it is the system I have played more.

"One second season I used 4-4-2 and sometimes last season three at the back in some moments but 4-3-3 is my system, depending on my No6."

“Depending the profile of my No6, I can play one and two or I can play two and one behind the striker depending on the profile of our No6," Silva continued.

“If we play Schneiderlin he is a player who likes to play more alone which gives more freedom to the other two midfielders and this is the system I use more.

“But my model, first of all the team need to work all together and if we have a clean sheet then everything will start from there."

“I really like a pressure team and if you can do that for as long as possible in a match then that will cause problems for our opponent," he said.

"We have to do that in the right way, in a good balance everytime, but it is something I like and it is something we will work on many, many, many times during the week.”

realizing that Gana and Morgan cannot play together itself is a step up on what Koeman, Unsworth and Allardyce managed

If he likes a team that presses. We may see more of Klaassen. Id imagine he will give him a fair go in the friendlies, to make up his mind on him. pressing is one of the things Klaassen is actually good at haha

Pressing is one of the worst part of klaasen game and a crucial reason why he fails to adapt in this league. He is stagnant when defending most of the time, I’ve rarely see him put in a tackle while playing for us. If you think pressing is his strong point, you’re probably mistaken him for Naismith. It’s like saying hibbert is good at dribbling. Shocking.

Players are shocked when shown a video detailing how the team is to attack next season.

I fail to see much difference between 4-5-1, 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 if I'm honest.

All have 3 in the middle of the park, 1 striker and 2 wide men. The positions of the three in the middle will change throughout the game but I guess Sky have to put something up on the telly.

If we sign Carvalho, almost guarantee we'll see 4-2-3-1.

Given the money they get, if our Everton lads cant expend that much energy they should put the tools down.
Either way it's construed, I think we are in agreeance* : that it's not unlikely our lion-hearted lads might 'down tools'.

*this is a neologism - a new word- that's entered the vocab. It's also a portmanteau word; a combination of 'agreement' and 'acceptance'
