he had 22 games at hull.. longer than hes had here. see where it gets you tho. relegation
Oh I didn't think he had as many as that, I always gave him more credit for his time at hull, so in the main he was useless there to. Who decided he could be a good fit here? They obviously didn't do there homework.

We need to stop the kneejerk reactions. It would be all too easy to sack Silva and bring in a caretaker manager. Then in the summer bring in someone else but what happens when they inevitably have a bad run. Do we get shut and continue to tailspin. The sad reality is that we should finish between 7th and 12th and not win a cup.

The top 6 have far more money than us. Far better squads and have had years to build their Clubs up. We stagnated under Bill and are playing catch up. The only way we will catch those ahead if us is to have stability and to be smarter than the clubs above us. That is not as exciting as the rush that sacking a manager and hoping for a miracle brings but it is far more pragmatic and realistic.

Brands and Silva have only been here 5 minutes and we shouldn't expect miracles. Give them the rest of this season and then next season and then see where we are.
Being unhappy that we've lost to a severely depleted Millwall side whilst only having three shots on target is expecting miracles now? Kin' hell, no wonder this club is such shambles when fans have such unbelievably low expectations!

he had hull safe and only had to win one of his last 2 games but lost both with an aggregate of 13-1 and sent them down

The system sucks, and he probably won't change it, so he either has to go or we need to bring in more players who can play that way

Either way, serious changes are needed
The easiest way is get rid, there must be a manger out there who can get this lot playing, on paper it looks a good squad but most at best are only playing at 50% of the capabilities, I feel they have very little faith in Silva and that's worrying.

Yes because Moyes’ men actually fought for him. It’s clear that Marco and this crop of players aren’t fighters.

They clearly didn't fight for Moyes in the Shrewsbury game otherwise we wouldn't of been beaten by a team who became none League at the end of that season. The scary thing though is that in the current climate Moyes would of been sacked after that game and Howard would of been sacked long before the best run of trophies in our history.

If we sack Silva now how long do future managers get. The Championship and League One are full of Clubs who ended up there because they took the easy way out and sacked manager after manager.

Since we sacked Martinez in May 2016 we have had Unsworth, Koeman, Unsworth, Allardyce and Silva in the hot seat. Are people really suggesting we sack Silva now and continue the tailspin.
