Just Thoughts? Seeing that theres not a chance of attracting a top name manager = Thoughts on LAMPARD. Would get total respect from players. Massive experience of premiership. Massive England and Champs lge experience. Would be on same wavelength as todays players. Played under some of the best coaches in the world. Everything that the Eddie Howes and the Chris Houghtons of this world have not. Got to start from somewhere . Think maybe worth a punt on a shorter term contract.

Tbf studies have proven that there's no link between being a great player and being a great coach. But he does come across as a very intelligent bloke and Derby have been quietly impressive this season, certainly wouldn't be against taking a punt on him

If we were a year further on with Silva and we are performing like we have been, then yes sack him, I believe then we can say he’s not good enough.. I completely understand why fans want rid but I personally don’t think we will benefit from it.
We can’t attract big name managers proven winners, we just can’t, so the best we can hope for is someone who’s been successful in crap league or an up and coming manager who’s doing well at a small club.
Look at Emery who the majority of us wanted and would of been over the moon with if we got him, sitting 6th in the table with players like Abamayaung/Lacazette/Ramsey/Ozil at his disposal..my point is he’s a winner and he’s not improved Arsenal so far in his 6/7 months in charge, because it’s not enough time.

All we really need to look at is the fact he says there’s a contingency plan but we’ll only use it if we get relegated. I’m not sure if you have any experience of contingency plans, but you don’t tend to only put them in place after it’s too late. That’s kind of the contingency part of it.
