10 losses in 16 matches.

When are people allowed to say he's crap?
We aren't mate.. Its all under 'transition'

But if big Sam had us on a run like this with Koemans team, the silva happy clappers would be up in arms and ripping season tickets it up all over the gaff

I would have moyes back....we are going back to what we were like pre moyes.......we are lucky we have the number points we have now. He built a team and we were always trying to get into the top 6. RM had one good season post moyes, other than that it has just been poor.

We are no longer the 7th best team in the league. Wolves, West Ham, Watford, Leicester will finish in top 10..... we will not finish in top 10.

Brighton, Burney & Palace are 6 points behind us and have one game in hand.

We play Cardiff next and if we lose that we know we will lose against RS - never mind the next win or the next point, where is the next goal coming from?

Well, lets leave aside those second and third seasons weren’t all that “crappy” in comparison to what has happened since because at least we had a long run in Europe to keep interest alive beyond New Year in the second and two long cup runs doing the same thing in the third.

You are right however in saying that when he fired it appeared indeed to be the right time.

The point I am making and I think @Percudani as well, is that in retrospect, we would have been better giving him a year with a bit of spending muscle instead of hiring the three useless buggers we have hired since.

Personally I don’t trust RM cos most of his signings were crap. He would just sign the expensive version of Alcaraz and McGeady. And there was simply no way back for him due to the 29% winning rate over 2 seasons. He just had to go at the time.

Koeman got 7th (acceptable). BFS took up the mess and got 8th (he’s a fireman). I think the current mess was due to the combination of Martinez, Walsh, Koeman and Silva.

Yeah because the likes of Lukaku...Barry where worse than what we have now....

That’s two good players. I can name you all his crap signings. And as I asserted the 29% winning rate over two seasons was no going back for him at the time. He would relegate this football club.

You know what mate, I've been thinking recently (with hindsight) that we should have given Bobby another year. Don't get me wrong I was all for sacking him at the time as I thought he'd lost it etc but he never had the chance to spend Mosh's millions and he did initially sign a few decent players...Lukaku, Barry, Mccarthey so maybe we should have given him one more season to see how things panned out?
Complete and utter bollocks mate.....Martinez was well on the way to taking us down...money doesn't come into it
