You'd have to ask the club, but I can't imagine the aim would have been to be worse than Koeman and Allardyce after spending a lot of money in the summer.

For me, I'd have accepted 7th-8th, but a comfortable 8th.

I thought the signings in the summer where fine and I still do. I also thought the correct decision was made not to do anything in January. So I can't aim much criticism as Brands. The manager is simply failing to get the most from the players he has.
This x 1000

I keep getting the inkling that part of the problem is that the money which has came into the club has changed the players we sign with regards to their character.

They're on big wages, but do they have big hearts? Do they feel they have a relationship with the club and are willing to go the extra mile? Do they want to be here?

Don't get me wrong, there are players in the squad (for example Digne) who do seem to buck the trend, but as a club we're losing our character.

I genuinely don’t think a single player in this squad wants to be here apart from Kenny and Davies. Every player looks like they’d rather be anywhere else in the world than on a football pitch in an Everton kit. It’s very sad.

Nar, hes blew Xmas for now, I currently want him punted at the end of the season.

3 wins in 14 is a disgrace, I get the state the squad is in, but its good enough to get 7th, something he might do, which is why im willing to wait till the end of the season, but unless we see a drastic change, he goes in May.

Every player to a man has regressed at an alarming rate, our performances have regressed, our results have regressed.

The man simply doesnt have a clue.

And expecting Brands to do much in the summer is a pipe dream, he aint gonna punt half these clowns for 2 or 3 windows.

Well you've got to take into consideration that there's still senior players under 3 different managers who aren't cutting it (Keane and Siggurdson I'm looking at you).

We still don't have a striker. Even Glenn Murray would do a better job for us than what we have.

Has to go. He’s incapable of even grinding out results. we’ve not outplayed one team this season for 90mins and have only beaten teams who have played terribly. Not having this, “He needs 3 or 4 windows to sort the mess out that Koeman and Martinez have made.” There’s no progress. None. I’d accept incremental progress like the young players are getting better or our attacking play is good but we lack a striker; or even our defence is solid but attacking wise we’re lacking that edge. They’re all progress and signs that we’re heading in the right direction. We’ve actually gotten worse to the point I honestly can’t see where the next win will come from. Silva’s another flash in the pan manager who never done anything remotely good in the Premiership.

100% part of the problem. We’ve messed up having money big time by getting the wrong types in.

I don’t really want a big money signing ever again.

10 losses in 16.

That's utterly appalling.

He needs to go.

It's a collapse. There's no getting round it. If someone would have told me he'd have a black period like this before he joined I'd ask them these questions: what is the overall season's performance been like? Is there building blocks in place? Have we improved the playing staff at all? If the answers were overall positive then I'd be less alarmed.

It takes time.
Thats just it, ive seen how "good" this group of players can be, which means 3 wins in 14 isnt down to the players, its down to their coaching.

Get him out dave, hes not for us, even Koeman managed 7th.

Stick a fork in this utter clown.

Koeman spent £250M to get 7th; Silva has spent £60M to get 9th.

The derby cratered us. That's the long and short of it. That's down to lack of experience and professionalism amongst players.
The problem being it feels like you’ve forgotten today’s game already.
Nope, I know Watford weren;'t all that at home we're they've been formidable, and that's down to us too.

Juande Ramos. 2007
Redknapp. 2008
AVB.2012
Sherwood.2013
Pochetino.2014

Thats 5 in 7 years.

Martinez.2013
Koeman.2016
Silva.2018

Thats 3 in 5 years , obviously not counting Unsworth & Allardyce as interim managers as with Clive Allen etc at Spurs.

Not matter what the calibre of players Chelsea sack managers if they dont reach their ambition .....as we should.

Who knows ? the next manager might be the right one ......hope its soon.

You missed Big Sam so that's 4 in 5 years.

Ramos came in after Jol (who'd been there for 3 season) and almost relegated Spurs until Redknapp came along. He got them Champions League. AVB did if Chelsea hadn't have won the champions league. Sherwood was a cheap option until the got Poch.

As for Chelsea, they've unfairly sacked managers and also...those players make a huge difference. They won the champions league under Di Matteo with them.

Even Cersei knows

We finally had money, we had the money to spend 300m on players in 6 transfer windows and we have Theo bloody Walcott as our highest paid player and Iceland as our record signing, plus we managed to spend 25m on Yannick bloody Bolaise and pay some 5th rate Spanish Striker 120 thousand English pounds a week.

They will write books about this period in our history, books and probably a Netflix show.
