Games prior to the derby and the other night against City. That early form is basically why we're still top half after this collapse. You might wish to forget it, but I dont.

...I'm not forgetting it Dave, but I'm not basing an entire argument for his ability around it either.

Because you can't.

It's all in the numbers Dave, which - as is known - can't really be argued with can they? He refuses to adapt his 'stamp' which, frankly, simply smacks of ego now. Why proceed with something (zonal) that pays no divi whatsoever and shows no sign of doing so? Yet he does.

He done it at HULL.

He done it at WATFORD.

He hasn't changed that and, clearly, he won't either...

I find it astonishing that you don't deem that concerning and, oddly, cite a 2-0 home defeat as 'progress'. It wasn't.

There are players there, in that squad, somewhere there is a 'team'. He doesn't know what his best side is, he now appears lost.

But MARCO doesn't seem able to scratch his @rseh0le with a soup-spoon so he's not gonna find it is he?

Sadly m'friend....I fear Mr SILVA is a one-trick donkey who's been HUGELY found out.

Crap innit...

Announce Anchelotti
To be honest that is what worries me about Moshiri's reign, we have gone for "second tier"managers, what we have spent in compo already could have been used to give him(Ancelloti) an unbelievable contract, people may well say,"you don't have a chance of getting an Ancelloti or one of his ilk"but has and I hate this word the "project" been used in our approaches,I mean cash to spend, the getting more mystical BMD plans, surely Ancelloti sat in the Liver Buildings looking across at the city would be tempted, or should be if Moshiri has truly grand designs?

We finally had money, we had the money to spend 300m on players in 6 transfer windows and we have Theo bloody Walcott as our highest paid player and Iceland as our record signing, plus we managed to spend 25m on Yannick bloody Bolaise and pay some 5th rate Spanish Striker 120 thousand English pounds a week.

They will write books about this period in our history, books and probably a Netflix show.

More likely to be shown on Comedy Central

Nope. It needs players adding to it in crucial positions. It's simply not true to say that we have the material here right now. The attack is a disgrace not worthy of the name; the right side of the team is about as uselful as a chocolate teapot.

He cant be judged on not getting a consistently high standard out of these players when it's just wishful thinking to believe they are consistently capable of it.

How not to spend well with Martin Lewis. Defo on channel 5.. Just after benefits street

The derby cratered us. That's the long and short of it. That's down to lack of experience and professionalism amongst players.
lol

I wish there was someone who's job it was to pick people up and make them focus on the next game. Almost like a conductor or assistant. Like they could have these inexperienced and unprofessional players and work with them all week to have them look forward, not backward.

You conveniently leave out that we smashed a team in that time frame which didn't do a single thing for the next match.

If only we had a striker who can score. We'd have came out winning today. I'm serious. The lack of a decent finisher is killing Silva and it'll kill any other manager who comes in.

Brands has had 2 windows, and the summer one may have been compromised by a lack of forward planning, but if Silva were to point the finger of blame of the transfer team I'd agree.

Also I think it's important to keep a manager through a bad spell to show he's going nowhere and is in charge no matter what. We have had insurrection in the ranks over the last few regimes and those troublesome players need weeding out and their trace obliterated by a strong manager who the players can't dictate to. I hope this is Silva.
