Dare I say it: it's time for maturity amongst us fans to recognise the point we're at. It calls for a measured response that not only takes in recent form but also takes into consideration just how broken this squad is, beyond all the fluff talked about it. The squad isn't even adequate. It needs major surgery before it becomes functional. That's the environment any replacement manager comes into...who themselves could add forther instability to the situation by wanting shut of players brought in this season.

Hold your nerve and allow a summer to pass by and judge the situation after the first international break at least. That's the only sensible way forward here, IMO.

Cardiff game is huge for him. People are flapping now, rightly so, and Cardiff have won their last 2. If they beat us, they could be 2 points behind us (they have a game in hand against Watford at home). We literally were missing our only REAL striker in Yakubu, our only REAL creative player in Arteta and the heart of our defence in Jags. I will maintain until I die if we were missing only 1 of those we win that.

Jags was the biggest loss, considering we got that early goal.

You missed Big Sam so that's 4 in 5 years.

Ramos came in after Jol (who'd been there for 3 season) and almost relegated Spurs until Redknapp came along. He got them Champions League. AVB did if Chelsea hadn't have won the champions league. Sherwood was a cheap option until the got Poch.

As for Chelsea, they've unfairly sacked managers and also...those players make a huge difference. They won the champions league under Di Matteo with them.

I would never class Sam Allardyce as anything other than an interim manager , so no , I didnt miss him out.
Stand by my point , If the manager fails then change him.
Stability is a fine thing , Stability with the wrong manager gets you relegated.
