It's called confidence and Silva strikes me as a streaky manager. He started brilliantly at Watford then his record fell off a cliff, at Hull he started well then got relegated. I think he has a good style but he needs to bring the results too. It may take till next year until we can fully judge him because at least he has a blueprint. Sam had stay in the game and defend and maybe nick one that wasn't sustainable either.

as much as he has just 'failed' at united i wouldn't be adverse to this...

would be a hell of an outlay, but hes the type of winner who would come in and turn everything on its head...
