I know I’ll get pelters, but I think Moyes would do a job. He is a good age and now knows exactly what he left behind. I think he regrets leaving and would now have the funds to go to that next level. His recruiting alone would make it worthwhile.

But I still think it is too early to fire Silva. I mean, we put the club on a standstill for him.
that you dave ??

Only Davies and Coleman got any real stick around me in the Bullens today

A distant second with a team containing Martial, Pogba, Lukaku, De Gea, Rashford, Lingard, Mata etc. A team who currently sit 15 and 19 points respectively behind their biggest rivals not even half way through the season, something that a United manager shouldn't be doing with that many talented players

They finished 2nd to a fantastic Man City side mate no shame in that.

No ones saying he hasnt had a shocker this season, however he is nowhere near finished hence 2 trophies 2 season's back and two other final appearances alongside those.

My mates a Utd seasom ticket holder and he said most sensible OT attenders were disappointed he went and blamed the poisonous cabal of Pogba, Rom, Sanchez and Martial (and his and De Geas agents) for souring the dressing room.

People want to give Silva time with zero proof of him being able to turn things around yet wouldn't be willing to give one of the worlds most successful managers the same time?

This is why Everton fans dont deserve nice things.

Marco will be here to stay, if we sack him anytime soon we really are turning into Watford / Villa, wasting millions sacking managers.

We had no money in the Moyes era but you knew what we stood for, there was a backbone to the team, either Carsley, Gravesen or Cahill, over the years someone who would stand up. That fell apart under Martinez and has never recovered. The board have a lot to answer for, they sacked Koeman without a plan, Marco was flavour of the month and went all out but failed and unlike West Ham who handed Moyes an end of season deal, offered BFS a multi year deal then had to pay him off for a manager who has achieved nothing and never sticks about. Not convinced at all by Silva but having a revolving door of managers won't do the club any good.

I just don’t see it mate. I mean, he was great, but he has never been a guy to build. And it always ends in disaster, except at Inter. Indeed I think he tends to leave destruction in his wake, rather than handing off a better side to his successor.

The mind plays tricks eh? Watford ripped us apart the other night (and we got very lucky) , West Ham have also ripped us apart this season (now Spurs) and we have struggled against Newcastle and Huddersfield and thrown away leads at Wolves and Bournemouth.

Don't think that because we nearly got a point at Anfield we've been more competitive. We got a point away at Man City under Koeman and should have won. We narrowly lost 2-1 at home to what we now know are a very classy Lyon team who beat City in the CL this season. We were as competive in the first 9 games under Koeman as we have been in the last 9 under Silva.

No mate go look at the results after week one against Stoke, we didn’t get a win apart from the miracle Niasse comeback

We also were in the relegation zone and bombed out of Europe

He was dire at Utd though - ever diminishing returns. He’s a bit of a one trick pony who has a massive chip on his shoulder
united is united … its a one off, and for most a poison chalice.

even being a failure at united is wiining the Europa league, fa cup and coming 2nd in a very strong league.

hes even got them through to the last 16 of champs league …

so obviously we would rather stick with a premier league fraud and pass up on this serial winner.

there are levels in football... Mourinho would be at about 95 -100 right now and we have magical marco who is about 2 -100

*face-palms

Silva and the team need to be backed. Changing managers would not be helpful.

There are however two big question marks over Pickford and Coleman. I'm hopeful Pickford's can be corrected with a bit of help and time. Everything Coleman touches turns to crap. Very sad to see.

Whatever there needs to be a reaction after today's result, but just bear in mind that it takes a lot to get over something that bad. So a played semi ok and draw might not be the worst result in the next game.
