Well that's worked really well for us over the last 25+ trophyless years lol

Makes me laugh how some dismiss people as though Everton are a cut above them. We have appointed a relegated manager from Wigan FFS and given a 6 month stint to a gravy swilling beaut with a history of being a relegation specialist.

We appointed a manager from Preston with Zero premier league experience who was the best manager we have had for donkeys years and re-established us as a top half side which we hadn't been consistently for years.

I am not saying we should appoint Eddie Howe, but his record and career with Bournemouth has been very impressive and even more so for such a young manager. Who's to actually say he couldn't manage a club with a higher profile now at this stage of his career? Nobody actually knows.

It’s a little bit weird. I mean, I’m not saying I want him as Everton manager, but going out of your way to make it seem like he’s spent any more than any other established Premier League club (and some that aren’t) just because you can’t have anyone praising what he’s done at essentially a League 2 club, that baffles me a bit.
