Yes because he has no link to us before appointment,
Bed mate, wake up and realise with him still in charge our best chance is 7th....You haven’t got a clue pal

Neither has Eddie Howe mate.
Played most of his career as a Bournemouth player, managed mostly Bournemouth.
Why has big Ed continually thrown away winning positions in the premier league mate. Always ranks pretty highly in that stat.
I will wait.
Wow what an answer...lollollollollol
How(e) much has he had to spend v Silva? (Without the Brands genius)
Imagine coming on to a football forum the day after your team has just secured its best away result for abar 30 years and declaring that the manager isn't good enough because he's a foreigner and should be replaced by Eddie Howe.Wow what an answer...
As they say "from little acorns"...I think the comparisons are always worthwhile but shouldn’t be taken as gospel. 27 points on Boxing Day for the past two seasons doesn’t suggest progress, but we can see improvement, not least because we enjoy watching our team more.
Allardyce’s was clearly a short-term appointment, he came in and achieved his objective. Silva’s appointment is hopefully long-term and is work in progress.
I do think, though, that the key appointment is Marcel Brands. The players who have come in have largely impressed and he seems on the same page as Silva. A playing strategy supported by a transfer strategy, players playing to a system and individuals acquired to fit it.
You do realise he’s spent over 150 million in the premier league right? And the fact that they have a very wealthy backer?
He’s not some Moyes-like rags to slightly better rags tale.
Howe has spent most of his footballing career in his Southern comfort zone enjoying good financial backing and absolutely no pressure from the fans who are just grateful to be enjoying a premier league adventure.
The only time he has ventured out of his happy bubble and ventured ‘oop Noorf ‘ he ended up scuttling back home in tears with his tail between his legs, like the southern softie he undoubtedly is.
I don’t care if he once left his Mums back bedroom to watch us play Watford or Luton , Everton managers require a bit more backbone than this lad has hitherto shown.
