Results like today, Newcastle and Watford are worrying. Has he learned anything? Other than a formation change you’d have to say it doesn’t look like he has.

Things I’d give him a pass for are our right hand side (Lookman is not the answer), Bernard’s lack of composure at crucial moments and Pickford’s moments of madness. Not a great deal he can do about any of them in a short space of time.

Were not going backwards????

We had a better team when bk was at the helm.
We have spent over 300m and are worse.

Not achieving el football next season will be unforgivable.

I honestly do not understand the point saying he will do fine next season if crap like these being served up.

It doesn’t matter how many more players he will buy it is just the way the defence being set up.

Early days. We can't just bin a manager every time we lose.

But surely half a season is enough to judge a manager when we are doing so poorly in comparison to the resources spent?

Its like our fanbase are happy giving every manager 3 years before either sacking or giving a new contract.

We have a DOF who ensures a healthy transition between managers its why Watford can chop and change every season and still play the same style and players.

Sacking Silva based on his current record would do us no damage providing Brands was the one able to recruit the new manager and not Moshiri with his hard on for flavours of the month at midtable sides.

Horrendous month, but still don't think he's at any risk yet, nor should be. What's sacking him now after 6 months in the job going to prove? We'd just be going round and round and round in an endless loop, with an ever changing squad/coaching staff and no stability. The current squad we have has composition of FIVE managers, that is downright ridiculous and part of the reason for instability. If we were to sack Silva now, get someone else in then give him money to spend then that's adding a sixth manager's players to a misshapen squad. We'll never get anywhere continuing that practice

Yes we can Deco and I say sack the tit

Only joking but he has to bin off this putting 6 forwards on and just hoping for the best at the end of matches. Not only does it very rarely work but it really does make him look very amateurish as a manager and leaves him wide open for criticism

He needs to start making absolutely sure that the players he's putting on the pitch are actually up for a fight. The inconsistency many are showing is infuriating yet I'm fairly positive that he'll never call any of them out, even behind-closed-doors.

He also needs to start being far more proactive. Too often already this season he's made it obvious in certain games that he just simply has no 'Plan B'. Very worrying.
