Exactly. So striker isn’t completely essential.
Problem is Kev we don't have a Cahill type player

That's been part of our problem the last few years, too choppy changey with the back line. Under Moyes you knew what the back 5 would be every game cos it barely changed
Isn't that always the story of everton every year now?We are as many points ahead of Palace (who are at a push the highest team involved in a relegation scrap) as we are behind Man Utd.
We need a new RW as well as a CF in my view. It's OK saying we need a striker and I agree, we do, but we're not creating chances. Now whether a quick mobile striker will alter the dynamics of the team I don't know. His movement hopefully will create space for other players.
I believe that what you are witnessing is his mental disintegration. His post match interview has me very concerned for his well-being. Most of us have followed Everton for years and our sanity is thus ‘immunised’, But Marco is new to Everton and is thus vulnerable to terrible mental ravagement.
Mate we beat west ham and plenty others we've dropped points to this season at home last season. We literally beat almost every team at home last season that was below us in the table etc. Pretty sure we beat Leicester too.
Eh?Isn't that always the story of everton every year now?
Can remember saying that under Martinez
Jardim would be great, but can we convince him?
would be like trying to sell sand to eskimo'sJardim would be great, but can we convince him?
I'm saying this is our season every year.Eh?
I'm not disputing we're not playing well. I think Silva was crap today and we're on a worrying run.
But we aren't getting relegated or dragged into it. We're just one of a group of 5-6 average sides who on their day are good and on their off days are bad.
Wasn’t he the bloke who played the baddie in No Country For Old Men?As someone else said, Jardim is available.
It was never going to be easy straightening out the mess left after last season. Silva is doubtless feeling the pressure now as can be seen by his increasingly uncomfortable press conferences. I don't know if he can pull round this mixture of good and frankly poor players, certainly not without a transfer window or two.
