It's very tedious to watch.

At the very least we should be committing men to the box

It's not so bad when Richarlison is playing on the left wing because he has a tendency to make that run to the back post and early on this season he had some joy doing exactly that. The problem is that nobody else of the front 3 options besides maybe DCL (who's hopeless in general) is a threat in the air attacking crosses.

Let's be honest here lads the footy isn't exactly coming on leaps and bounds at the moment is it?

We have one plan from the start every match. Slow build up keeping possession until we can work it into a crossing position which generally leads to nothing. We've put the most crosses in this season so far in the league.

Sign Peter Crouch ?

Our game plan is horridly bad

I honestly can't see him seeing out the season the way things are going. We had a chance today to hammer home a point and we made ludicrously hard work of Lincoln F'N City. I'm not saying it's all his fault, its not like he can score or pass for the players but somthing just isn't right. It's just not and everyone can see it's not.

Be fair the whole of Lincolns annual wage bill including management and staff woul be about what Gylfi gets a month so we are not taking on mugs here.

Well they've been on a horrible run of form so of course they don't look right. Their confidence looks shot at the moment though hopefully the fact we won and went through will give them a bit of a bounce and the heads won't sink as low the next time we concede again.

Despite what some of you appear to want or even believe I can't see him not seeing the season out bar absolute catastrophe. Going through in the cup will have bought Silva some breathing space from the pressure was under and hopefully he relaxes a bit and the players do too and we all kick on.

Always wary of this 'lost focus' malarkey. What do they do when they lose it ? Start thinking, egg and chips or egg, chips and beans ? Do I need a new bank account as the others are full ? Did I turn the oven off ?
They only play for ninety minutes, how hard can it be to remain focused, it's an integral part of their job. Full of excuses for overpaid 'professionals'

...don’t bring me into it.

Think you're completely wrong here tbh

Bad run of results doesn't excuses the level we have fallen to in recent weeks. Nor does a lack of confidence justify playing as badly as we have done. If their confidence is that shot then the manager and his team aren't doing their jobs properly. Other teams have plenty of bad runs yet don't fall to pieces like we do after conceding a single goal. They're professional footballers, if they seriously lack that much confidence we need a psychiatrist and a motivational speaker for them, never mind a manager.

I'm afraid I can see things getting a lot worse at this rate. I see nothing that convinces me that Silva and this team will turn things around as we stand. Oh I'm not saying we'll get relegated, there's still worse teams then us in this league but unless Silva addresses this mentally fragile side and works with them to start stringing a couple of passes together without an endless succession of mistakes we're almost certainly looking at a lower mid-table finish as low as fourteen or fifteen. Him being sacked is not I repeat NOT what I want. I want Everton to do well or be hard to beat or at least be competent, we don't even look that right now!
