See the thing is.. if there's anything I do like about the dude it's that his team selections are generally good and I think he got it right again today. It's at times during the match when you feel that something needs changing up a bit I don't really trust him to think on his feet and act quickly. It was in danger of going that way again today, but credit to the players who dug in all the same.
 
For me our aim for this season has to be 7th, Europa League football and a cup run.

We’re two points from 7th which is likely to be enough for Europe and we have a winnable game to get to the last 16 of the cup with plenty of the better PL sides out - so we can still very easily have a decent season.

First half was truly awful but we were attacking and playing with intensity in that second half and deserved to win.

Hopefully it’s the start of a good run of form.
 

poor performance. Defensively all over the place. Offensively the players making wrong decision and wrong movement throughout the season. Attention to details my foot. Lots of basic not even implemented correctly.

Hopefully the players gain more confidence today. We need to turn this around now.

playing like we did in that first half and we would be 4 nil down to most other premier league teams.. it just didn't fall for bournmouth today, we rode our luck bigtime.

having said that we did look better second half.#

marco still hasn't put a team out for the full 90 mins yet. why is that ??

I wont know what I deem acceptable till the window closes.

Its not about the manager, its about the squad.

With a good squad, a balanced squad, with an actual Striker and a few other players I see no reason why we cant challenge for the Title, personally, but the squad needs to be massively improved and we have just the man for that job.
