You think the squad that he inherited from Koeman Allardyce and Walsh will have more than 3-4 players in it that will be consistent starters in 2 years? The honest answer is no and with little to no funds because of the impulse signings we’ve made that are draining us weekly through wages there was little fixing the issues before the season started and no fixing it now in January.

I’m pretty sure I just don’t like his ‘style’ of football. We don’t have the players for it.

We never have players capable of city style football that Silva is obsess about. We have players suitable for counter attacking football that will deliver relative success until we acquire the next level of players to be more expansive and intricate.
Our current players are finding it difficult to execute his style that requires intricate passing while playing at a slower tempo build up from the back. He implement this style without having superior players is a disaster waiting to happen. Once he start imposing things that players arent capable of, confident will drop, game plan will be disarray and everything will spiral out of control.

The league has been gash this year. No mid table team has had consistency until Solksjaer took over at utd. To finish 7th this year is pathetic, something gravy nipples could do. If that's acceptable or desired then wtf are we doing existing as a club? Giving the big boys someone to gift them 3 points?
Silva's team looks terrible. His "tactics", formation, striker choice, and after tge fact substitutions absolutely stink.
If he gets sacked he'll have deserved it.

Completely agree he’s pushing the players and he’s always been behind them but we aren’t there yet. No reason why other than we don’t have the quality to pull it off yet.

I have to agree with you but if he did go who would replace him? I doubt Moyes would come back.

He honestly does not have a squad plain and simple and he’s trying to play B level player in a role that requires a higher quality from them. We could very well become an Allardyce style team for the remainder of the season but what would be the point. I’d rather fail at least trying to play the way he wants than just give up and go backwards again

Fielding such a weak side in the EFL Cup was his worst mistake imo. Now he's relying on one game to save his job.

What was he thinking? This isn’t just a Silva thing, why do managers do this at clubs like us? We’ve got no chance of top four, if he wins a cup for us he gets every single fan on board. It’s bizarre.
