Not in my opinion mate. Process rather then an event. Three years minimum.

We’ve done the five managers in three years thing, not a fan.
Five managers but only Sam and Moyes were capable of doing what asked of them, it's too many managers yes but that's to do more with bad appointments.
The only reason to give Silva three years is so we can plod along and just think about the ground

Early in the season, I thought we looked like we could entertain and be more successful. That seems a long time ago. I'm not saying sack Silva, but it would be nice to see signs of improvement during the season, but we seem to decline! At the moment it is tough to see Silva being around for years and that is what we need, along with a settled team. There are several players who will leave in the next year, but will the manager? I hope he proves me wrong, but I think he will be gone next season. Saturday is a massive game. The manager and players need to do much better.

Im not convinced by Silva at all.Since the derby, both form and performances have fallen of a cliff.I do appreciate the low base, that Silva is starting from though.I did have low expectations for this season. But that doesn't make the disappointment any easier. For stability sake, i think he deserves the two full seasons.I just think no manager, would want to come to a club, which is viewed as a basket case, that constantly changes managers.

our managerial choices are always so obvious and uninspired, mostly it's flavour-of-the-month types that any normal Joe could pick out:

- Mike Walker (all the rage for half a season with Norwich)
- Walter Smith (wins titles in Scotland = hovering above relegation zone in the Prem)
- Moyes (Championship Manager...did as well as could possibly be expected)
- Martinez (won the FA Cup, quick let's get him! What? He got relegated too?)
- Koeman (finished 6th & 7th with Southampton, that's as Everton as can be)
- Allardyce (ffs)
- Silva (the very definition of flavour-of-the-month)

...meanwhile, Leeds got Bielsa and are having a brilliant time!

We should look proper leftfield for our next manager, as let's be honest Silva won't be here that long.
What has Bielsa actually achieved outside South America?

He’s just as flavor at the month at the moment as Silva was, and is also going through a dismal patch at the moment outside the Derby win.

two words sum up our general managerial balls-ups...

...Everton that

Indeed.

At the end, Bobby needed to go.

Then Koeman needed to go.

Allardyce should never have been here in t’ first place and he needed to go when he did.

Does anyone seriously think Sam and Koeman in particular should have been given more time?

If things have not improved noticeably by the time the clocks go back in the autumn then Silva will need to go.

That’s just the way it is....you cannot hang in to an underperforming manager merely in the hope that things will improve.

They very rarely do.

We actually still need a crisis manager who can carry us thru the transition, then a builder with Long term strategies and full support...two in one will be ideal...
