Silva didn't sign any of these players, coaches/managers don't sign players at Watford it is all done by Gino Pozzo and Scott Duxberry.
There was mention that Silva had some involvement re the Richarlison signing but the club had been tracking the player for over a year.

Who selected and signed your players in the summer? Was it Silva or Gino Pozzo / Scott Duxbury

Yes we are a smaller club than you. I've said that all along. However it is also fact that all premier league clubs now have big money. Gone are the days where we can be bullied into selling at fees larger clubs dictate and you can't deny that. We bought squad players in the last window at £8m per pop are we really going to release are manager for a meagre £10m of course we're not going to.

So what are you worried about then?
