I can no more control another Watford fan on here more than you can control another one of your own. I haven’t even gone back as far as to see what he/she said that you take offence to. So we can remove that debate. You are entitled to see your chase for Silva however you want. Koeman was sacked a long time ago and most clubs would have a successor in by now. Many of your own fans on here have stated you’re making a mess of this. But when it’s pointed out to you by a fan of the club who’s manager you’re trying to take, suddenly the story changes. Everyone can be guilty of spinning a story to suit their own agenda. You’ve set your stall out as a club that you want Silva and the position hasn’t been filled for weeks. If it makes you feel better to say that if you aren’t successful getting him, it’s because you didn’t want him and have moved on, that’s your look out. But I think WFC fans and the wider football world will see it differently. You’re a bigger club than us in every way. But you may have to learn in the PL, that doesn’t constitute you being able to get your own way every time.

But you may have to learn in the PL???? in case you hadn't noticed mate we've been in the Premier league right from the off and before that there was this thing called the 1st division and we just so happened to have been in that for about 45 years on the spin too.

I think if anyone knows how things work in the PL we will be o.k without getting advice from yourselves.

Because there's no other explanation. The moment Silva refused to outright dismiss it and say he's staying, this was all but done.

Only thing that stops this now is a Southampton-like situation with Van Dijk.

IMHO Kevin Kilbane for a pundit comes across as a sensible, articulate, honest non sensationalist guy who is probably ITK with this one, don't think he would stoop to clickbait or put his reputation at risk.
Effectively he is the anti-dote to Jim White and the Talksport parasites.
