I always thought he was more likely to be here this week if Watford had failed to win today :(

Regarding the odds, Eggs.....given that on here it seems to be a fait accompli, one would have thought that if the wider football world believed this was an all but done deal Silva would have been backed off the boards and 1/10 or something would be the price tonight.

Sam was 1/7 and Dyche 1/4 at various times when it the rumour mill had those guys at the very door at FF so the fact the price is still odds against is, to me, an jndication that this is far from a formality.

Either that or we should be filing our boots 5/4 as it is like buying money ;)

Youre forgetting something. And that's the transfer kitty. Everton managers are usually given hundred and fifty odd million from owner to sort the team out. If they don't they are gone usually. In our case the Pozzos have a model buying players that are seen in the main as a bargain with the potential of being sold later on.
If I was a manager and head coach I would rather have the Everton model. So I don't blame him for having a go there.

On their forum they believe Richarlison is worth 70/80m because he has 5 goals and is Brazilian. They also think they have a better squad of players than us.

I’m sorry but football is about systems, managers and systems can make players look better or worse than they are, odds are when Silva leaves which he will, they will turn on their squad of no marks by January and Richarlison will be found out to be a fraud.
 
Not sure if anyone else saw / listened to motd2 extra today but they seemed to think it will happen. Silva will have to resign.

Richarlison is a amazing talent... Watford will sell him for lots of money in the future...
