He took training today. If he takes it again tomorrow, I'd say he hasn't said anything of the sort and theres no discussions taking place between anyone. Our owners are strong characters and wouldn't have him near the team if he was openly saying he wants out IMO.

See I don’t agree it’s a “mess” at all, despite what’s being said by some on here and some in the media who should know better. We could easily have appointed a manager 24 hours after Koeman was sacked. You'd know all about 'time' given how much of it you are taking to make a mess of not getting our manager.
...this looks at a point where it’s entirely out of Everton’s hands.
Watford appear to rebuke any compensation offer. If Silva truly wants to leave, I doubt it’s anything like quiet behind the scenes at Watford. Silva will surely have made his feelings known and I suspect there’s discussions taking place in the Watford space.
"Watford Gap, Watford Gap, plate of grease and a load of crap " (Roy Harper song) lolIs this the famous Watford Gap? Which isn't even in Watford.. I suspect there'll be another Watford gap in the managers dug out this weekend.
IF and its a big one, there is a break clause, it'll be the same as the one inserted into the deals of QSF and Mazzarri where BOTH parties have to agree to end the contract early. If we don't agree, he doesn't go and we are in the exact same position everyone is in now. I don't know this as fact - no one does. But it would follow the same patterns as our last three managers contracts so its a very educated theory. You can speculate all you want about these so called 'clauses' in his deal - but let's be sensible. Most of you have said our owners are businessmen (stubborn, ruthless ones at that) so why would they turn down a potentially world record compensation fee if he could walk away in 6/7 months time? Thats terrible business. He's got the one year break clause in his contract as he knew a job at a big club would come up eventually. Now one has, he's chomping at the bit to get to Goodison.

Original.Hi hornet,
If we want him, he’s ours. We’ll play your media game just to give your owners a bit of credibility, but behind the scenes we’ll show some leg to your manager and bum your board of directors, no lube required because it’s gonna hurt you and we want you to know it.

Have you considered the possibility that you would be a worse position if we actually withdrew our interest and went after another manager ? We will in time find another manager who fits in with our ambitions but in your case you are left with a manager whos head has been turned. He could of cut the speculation stone dead by saying he was not interested and was happy at Watford.IF and its a big one, there is a break clause, it'll be the same as the one inserted into the deals of QSF and Mazzarri where BOTH parties have to agree to end the contract early. You can twist the 'truth' to be anything you want it seems. It'll probably be truthful when you stick with Unsworth, re-sign Fellaini as a No.9 and claim that was the plan all along and you never wanted Silva. The truth normally is
