Can only assume the silence in the short-term is a positive as regards getting Silva in and they are down to the serious haggling on the understanding he is going.

Should there be any breakdown, I'm sure they will confirm Unsworth as soon as possible thereafter. I don't imagine Watford would ever admit to negotiations in that scenario but through leaks they would probably be delighted to rub our noses in it.

Surely its Silva/Unsworth now - either/or. From a credibility viewpoint it would be stupid to make fresh eyes at another candidate and beging the wooing all over again, with no guarantee of success. That said, I'm sure Pulis would jump at the chance, written in jest of course.

It's either down to the final stages of haggling (over £1.5m hahaha), or we genuinely aren't even in for him and we are too busy figuring out where the shareholders hols should be this year.

There is someone who has screen grabbed a tweet that was later deleted suggesting that Moshiri has done a TV interview with IranTV.
In said interview, he states that he agreed a 12m compensation package with Watford last night.
