No mate it shows when you loaned him their was a clause stating you had to buy him if he helped your massive club stay up.

Sigurdsson is most likely looking forward to working with a manager who turned cleverley from terrible into a pretty decent player mate, same improvement on Siggy he will be worth the money we spent

Meanwhile ofc - your new manager, tony pullis maybe? - will most likely see Cleverley return to his former gashness

Agent Tom did help us get the 3 points against you though, thankfully Silva played a sneaky game putting him on pens making sure we got the 3 points for when he moves here this week

Pozzo has some nerve if he tries to prevent an ambitious manager from bettering himself when he is so quick to axe managers who do a good job at Watford...eg Dyche, Jokanovic and Flores.

I wish that Italy still used Lira, so we could all have a nice laugh and joke that Pozzo hadn't realised we meant pounds sterling. That'd be brilliant. He'd be sending him over on the back of a vespa straight away.

Can only assume the silence in the short-term is a positive as regards getting Silva in and they are down to the serious haggling on the understanding he is going.

Should there be any breakdown, I'm sure they will confirm Unsworth as soon as possible thereafter. I don't imagine Watford would ever admit to negotiations in that scenario but through leaks they would probably be delighted to rub our noses in it.

Surely its Silva/Unsworth now - either/or. From a credibility viewpoint it would be stupid to make fresh eyes at another candidate and begin the wooing all over again, with no guarantee of success. That said, I'm sure Pulis would jump at the chance, written in jest of course.
