As for Silva, it depends on his ambitions. His end game maybe a role at one of the elite European clubs in the next 12-18 months. To get this he needs to decide if his stock will be better served at Watford where there will be less expectations but a top 10 position will still get him noticed or Everton where there is a higher chance of failing

As for managers:
Dyche - should have been given a chance but often a new owner starts afresh
Zola - Great football to start with but seriously lost his way and conceded too many (same as at Brum)
Sannino - was only ever to be a short term appointment to steady the ship
García - left after four games on health reasons - think he had a heart attack
McKinley - totally wrong appointment and left after 2 games
Jokanovic - Great manager and wish he’d been given a chance in the Prem but, reportedly, wanted too much money. Maybe, based on Fulham, the Pozzos were right
Flores - read Zola
Mazzarri - horrible, horrible football. The second half of last season was dreadful to watch

Silva knew what he was coming into and has done a great job. Time will tell if this is a power play for him to get more control at Watford or Everton is the step up he’s looking for

Not sure about this fella, I reckon Ball is correct when he says we need proven right now. Ancelotti for me please, I know he’s probably bound for the Italian national side but I think we should really try a hard sell with him.

I’ve just checked his odds and paddy power have him at 4/7 with raginak 3/1 second favourite now. I know the betting has changed week by week but he was odds against over the weekend. I just want this to be sorted at some point this week because it’s painful to watch. If they want him do whatever it takes if not move on to the second choice

The likes of Palace have had more...for what it’s worth our set up means the head coach is often very replaceable with limited damage on results. Hasn’t affected us to date

Having said that, Silva is one we would all like to keep

As he won’t be able to sort your biggest problem out, in defence, I suggest you look elsewhere

I think we are hiring Pulis for the defence and Silva for the rest of the side mate and then sacking them both regardless of how well they do once Simeone comes in the summer.
