Some banter off wfc forum

That 'Davek' penis is still insisting: "If we want him we'll take him..."

What an absolute bell muncher.

Another one
Either way I now officially hate Everton and wish them worst for the future. Hope they get relegated and go bankrupt with their corrupt owner.

No idea if its dead in the water...but would be kinda funny if it wasnt...we will see soon enough...
....but but but I'm the one who's *owned*, apparently.

:coffee:

He does well, he leaves; he doesn't do well then Watford have damaged goods on their hands.

It's more of a gamble for Watford to keep hold of him.

If this case is anything to go by, the first possibility you mentioned in this post is perhaps not as big an issue as we might think.

As others have said it is down to Marco Silva now.
If he does really want the job he has to make it happen otherwise Everton move on.

If Everton have officially have moved back from the deal but Silva now resigns in protest at not being allowed to talk to us I wonder what compensation package would be needed to prise Silva away then, possibly less than they are asking now.

There may be more in this yet.

I reckon he'll have suitors. If he keeps Watford top half bigger clubs will scoop him out of there...and I doubt he'll be inclined to not walk out at that point.

As I see it: Silva;s stock is high but not that high yet. Watford can hold onto him and he'll depreciate regardless of doing well or not.

They still have a choice to make on this. I think if I were them I;d be taking the £12M and moving on. Biter bitten. Lesson learned.

Still want another 24hrs? I am respectful to all other members of this forum as I am a guest. But you’ve been found to be clutching at straws with the vast majority of your comments about this. I said from the start that it would be harder than you thought to get him - but you chose to spin the same uneducated yarn as Merson et al without ever looking at the situation impartially. I don’t believe you’ve been ‘owned’. I think you’ve just thrown a lot of bluster about that hasn’t been fruitful. You might get Silva in the Summer - I have my doubts, but that’s a debate for if and when it resurfaces. I do think you should stop regurgitating this as somehow being positive though. There’s too much noise for it to not be true.

‘Watford are totally screwed here...’

Come on pal. Stick a fork in it, it’s done. We have a manager we are desperate to keep, we’ve kept him and he showed on Sunday he has the ability and backing from the squad to ignore the external noise. If he was going to walk, he’d have done it by now and I suspect you know that.

Without going into the will he/won't he, you beat Moyes' West Ham, it's hardly SAF's Man Utd in their prime.
