Agreed. They can blab for all their worth but if Silva wants to come and we want him and are prepared to pay the compo (only 2 year contract thank god), then it's going to happen. However we have no idea whether Silva himself wants it to happen so not getting my hopes up.

Either way I have no sympathy for Watford who have gone through managers like bog rolls over the last few years.

Watford show no loyalty so why should he.

It will be interesting what he says on his first day. I hope he clearly states he is here to fulfill the project not just as a stepping stone.

What that means to me is phasing out our aging players and bringing through youth while buying top players both young and old from abroad.

I don't want him to attempt a Koeman and leave us with a load of over priced senior players.

I hope he takes over where Martinez left off in how he was trying to build the club - just with not Martinez's flaws.

It will need time but if we build steadily it is possible.

Depends.

When Silva leaves it will then be even more difficult for Watford to find a replacement mid season, so they'll want to be compensated for that.
