silva obviously wants the move he would have come out and said he was happy at watford by now. and why are we going to them now just before the next game why not as soon as koeman was sacked. we really are a mess
 

Don’t worry lads it’s not your money. Unfortunately it’s the way footie has gone.

Watford will be flush with cash themselves thanks to Sky, and know they can get what they want.
 
The jury is still out on this guy for me but when you consider the immense amount of money we spent in the summer for the likes of Klassen, Gilfi etc whom to date have done very little to deserve such high value, If Silva is the guy they want then just go full force with an offer they cannot refuse and stop fecking around with it. Making us look like unprofessional amateurs and prolonging the hurting of other clubs. Gets worse and worse the Everton board.

The problem is when you nail your colours to the mast like this and it’s out in the open, you really have to land your target.

Anyone who is approached now will know they weren’t first choice and that makes it difficult to land anyone of pedigree who lets be honest, all have egos.

I’m sure Unsworth would still be grateful mind!
 
Watford saw how daft Everton were with Sigurdsson when Swansea stuck it out for a gold mine.

They have had all the time they need to report Everton about tapping up and they haven't.

They're waiting for an offer they cant refuse, because that manager of theirs has his head turned toward Goodison and they'll have a lame duck on their hands keeping him.

Moshiri can end this with £15M.
 

Are we going to get all the Watford fans come on here telling us how small time we are and how they’ve got a “5 year plan” to win titles whilst we get relegated, and Silva is the guy to do it, like all the Southampton fans did?

Only for us to bag their manager and sack him 18 months later for being crap.

Oh god I hope we do!
 
Heard something about Watford considering reporting the club for 'tapping up' Silva.

What a massive waste of effort and resources this is/will be.
