Unless you're a movie mogul/politician/famous DJ...etcIf you expose yourself, you get sent home early and you don't ever have to go back again
Who was the last manager we got from a league rival / same country that was actually a roaring success?
Royle in part , Kendall before him?
Maybe we should stop hiring these managers if most of them since the 80s have been crap
Tbf, every manager we've had since the 80s has been crap. Maybe we should just stop hiring managers all together.Who was the last manager we got from a league rival / same country that was actually a roaring success?

That’s because we as fans have accepted mediocrityTbf, every manager we've had since the 80s has been crap. Maybe we should just stop hiring managers all together.
As an addition the mediocrity came to the fore when coronation street actors took over our club and got his buddies on board. That’s because we as fans have accepted mediocrity
People should have being congratulating Moshiri when he mentioned ( reportedly) Simeone not laughing our heads off.
Do you think any of the Sky 6 would consider Silva ?? Not a hope
It’s managers of that calibre we should be going after
Granted we may not get our first second or even our third choice but we would let the world know we are serious
If Moshiri / Usmanov throw enough money at it we will get a top class manager

Joe was in the Championship, Oldham having been relegated the previous season.
And I am pretty sure Blackburn were too when we signed Howard from them.
So the answer is none
Unless Wednesday were in Division 1, old style, when we signed Harry.
I think koeman kinda rocked the trend a little bit but his attitude and the wonderful transfer policy we have at the club gave him no chance to ever go anywhere. I mean Jesus we went into this season without a first choice striker , what chance did he ever have ?Joe was in the Championship, Oldham having been relegated the previous season.

Have we seriously offered him HALF the salary of the guy we've just sacked? FFS.
At this rate we'll be stuck with an U23 manager till the end of the season.
Oh yes.

Rejected: £10m fee to Watford, £3.5m salary for Silva. Koeman was on £6m.
lol
How Everton would that be?
Remember one time we made a late bid for a player and our bid was actually lower than the bid the the selling club had already agreed with the prospective buying club lol
Nah. We'll see that we were unlucky against Chelsea, drew with Liverpool and beat Arsenal and leave BFS to take your as yet open hotseat. Thanks though.Yep should have jumped in and let him leave then they could have got BFS in to replace him.
Whats your source on him having his head turned? What's your source on this mate? Because if you're referencing that Telegraph article then that fella doesn't have a blue's clue.
