I like the passive aggressive approach of the Watford fan on here, I reckon we're only a gentle nudge from an extreme meltdown from him. He'll read this message and decide he's not going to give us the satisfaction of a meltdown, but will continue to get gradually more agitated having initially calmed down. It's a shame we have the swear filter as I think we could have learnt some new words from him when his head finally pops.

They are chancing it. They owe him compo and don't want to pay. If he ends up at the likes of west ham they get nothing and have to him compo.

We definitely do hold the cards here. There is no panic to get him in either as the players are away now on hols or international duty. Just be nice to have it sorted.

I share those concerns as well but I'll be getting right behind him once it is official. We have to give the team some support and patience now there is an actual plan in place to move us forward rather than the frustrating short termism that was the Allardyce appointment.

I will skewer him if he ever talks about a bigger club we aren't playing in a press conference though.

With a real DoF who actually understands his duties etc there is no pressure to get a manager while the players are on holidays imo. Although the sooner the better of course.

Could be a completely different person to all the media reports. I think it will all become clear over the weekend. I'm sure Brands has had input here even if its Silva. Moshiri has been chasing Brands since 2016 and has always kept in contact.
