No Koeman Martinez and Sam were all finished in the summer. Can’t be having that now can we. Time to sack Silva or payroll will be quite

Howe is the best of a terrible bunch of candidates. By that I mean he's streets ahead of Hughes or Moyes.

If we'd have acted last season, we wouldn't be looking in the bargain basement, but Everton will Everton.

He's an upgrade on Silva at least, in the league positional stakes at least. I can think of at least 3 other candidates i'd appoint/approach ahead of him.

Probably why they haven't fired Silva yet as they're figuring out what to do, who to pay, or just stay as it is

Agreed, but unfortunately we're now such a laughing stock that the candidates we could have attracted as recently as two months ago are no longer possible.

We should have pushed the boat out for Mourinho. We'll regret that we didn't for years.

WE would be in the same boat as now in a few years with Howe, the “done ok” with teams lower than us hasn’t worked, Look at the last few managers, a winner we need not a up and coming manager they don’t work

Think it was the season Villa got relegated and the players had just been booed off.

I wanted him over Silva when we were sniffing around.

But if I remember he wasn't even in the running as Bournemouth were on a bad run so wasn't flavour of the month like Dyche (urgh) and Silva were at the time.

But Howe will always be about as he's a young manager and I think it's not the right time for him.

Apparently they was off Sunday anyway and because they are not playing until next Sunday they had an extra rest day before 5 days in.bit weird to me though that silva went back to Portugal apparently coming back tomorrow
