Mentioned this to my souce earlier and they said Kenwright wants Howe.

Makes sense when you consider Brands wasnt here when we appointed Koeman and had spoken to Howe which would leave Moshiri who would have appointed him at the time if he was that impressed.

Wish Kenwright would just do one.

I literally say that in that post...

I mean resources comparative to those around them in the league. They've spent a fair chunk lately but they were coming from a position of deficit compared to established clubs in this league.

I totally agree he is the best of a bad bunch of realistic targets for us.

He's done a Moyes-esque job with Bournemouth. They have no resources, limited talent but he's made the very most of what he has to be fair.

The problem for me is that when I watch his teams they either play well from the off or they're terrible. There's no Plan B, no in-game adjustments.

That and anyone who spends a combined £40m on Jordan Ibe and Dominic Solanke has to be treated with caution. For that reason alone I don't want Howe. I think he's a relatively lucky manager who can get a tune out of a bunch of players but only through inspiration rather than tactical nous or smart buys.

It's this, really. He's punched above his weight now for a while, it's really amazing what he's done at Bournemouth, and playing a prettier style of football than Dyche at Burnley.

But they go through some terrible patches where they can't buy a point anywhere, then they seem to play 4 games when they look like world beaters. Devil's advocate might say that's because of the inferior players he has on offer, but to me, he's not really any better than what we've had recently - inconsistent play. And no Plan B

i think we need a manger to come in and sort these players out. There not lacking talent. They need direction and discipline. I just can’t figure why Morgan is still here or near the first team.
