What I wrote just now in the "Arteta" thread fyi:

Arteta would be boss I think and would obviously bring some interesting offensive ideas with him but I really think he'd need a wise head behind him for 12-18 months, someone with big manager experience and no threat to him who could guide him through some tough decisions dare I say like a Joe Royle.

A couple of our old boys done well . Royle and Howard had a tiny bit of success .
Harvey wasn't a total disaster but I do agree with you . Football has changed a lot and a love for the club just isn't enough anymore .

I'll meet you halfway.. He was back at Everton studying for his badges, so if he comes up alright and the more thoughtful of our coaching staff rate him, then let him take his pro license with the kids, like we did with Ferguson, and see how he goes.

I would love for Tim or even Dunc to take over at SOME POINT . Hell , I wouldn't be disappointed to see Rhino take over with a lot of help from seasoned managers again in future .
I'm a romantic like a lot of you but at the moment we need someone who's experienced with man management and could use more than one tactic .
Maybe one day *sigh*

Dunc to take over at some point, you can't be serious, the man has been hanging around like a bad rash for 3 failed managers, he's part of the problem and needs binning with Silva.
