Looking likely the end is nigh, the fact stories are doing the rounds that we are lining up replacements to take over before Sunday’s game, even if it’s not names that most want, makes it appear that lessons have been learnt from the Koeman debacle 2 years ago

Names should have been lined up well before this. We´ve got a Merseyside derby next week and we are going to go into in turmoil.

100% this. Replacement should have been lined up. Silva wont be sacked after Leicester cause derby will be in three days after that ffs. This is an outrage. Losing faith in this boardroom of buffoons.

Probably wait till we get knocked out the league cup. before we sack him at this rate. If we win it he will probably get to the end of the season. I honestly thought he would be gone. Hopefully we are looking for a suitable replacement before he goes. I don’t trust Everton tho I think we will end up with Moyes just like we ended up with Fat Sam.

I'm pinning my hopes on this. Looking at the bookies favourites shows a dearth of available talent (that we know of) and there's obviously huge drawbacks with going for an interim manager or head coach.

Maybe, just maybe, there's a bit of longer term thinking going on and the right man is lined up but only available at the end of the season. Or maybe we're just crap at this whole manager thing and indecision reigns supreme.

We will likely be soundly beaten on Sunday and then what happens 3 days before the derby? Chances are that Silva will be limping into one final humiliation. It could easily be Martinez levels of embarrassment once more.
