how? The new manager might get a result out of these games, Under Silva we will 100% lose these. Seems silly that they want him to get battered.
Even with a new manager, the overwhelmingly likely outcome is 2 losses, and then the new fella would be behind the 8 ball straight away.

Can see a certain logic in not making a change until after them... but it’s pretty hard nosed

Almost every big team came to Goodison and got beat under Moyes management according to Carragher there.

OK Jamie, stick to gobbing in kids faces you clueless bellend.

He said that teams used to come to Goodison expecting a game, which is fair enough. They used to.

In the last 9 seasons under Moyes we picked up 75 points from a possible 162 against the top six, comprising the following record against the top six at Goodison.

P54 W21 D12 L21 - 75 / 162 points (1.38 points per game)

City - W7 D1 L1 - 22 / 27 points
Spurs - W3 D4 L2 - 13 / 27 points
Man Utd - W3 D3 L3 - 12 / 27 points
Chelsea - W3 D2 L4 - 11 / 27 points
Liverpool - W3 D1 L5 - 10 / 27 points
Arsenal - W2 D2 L5 - 8 / 27 points

In the last 5 years our record at Goodison vs the top six is:

P32 W6 D11 L15 - 29 / 96 points (0.90 points per game)

So it does feed into the narrative that over a long period, all the top sides got beat at least 2 or 3 times at Goodison under Moyes and we almost always made it a game. We certainly won / drew far more than we lost anyway. And, since Moyes, we've not been anywhere near as potent in the big games, which suggests Goodison is not as fearsome as it once was.

top six out of ontext.

City took ages to be any real power and many of those wins would have been against the likes of Sven and what not.

Spurs we were level with for many years until they kicked on recently.

Of course the likely outcome is 2 losses even with the new manager but you still have a better chance than Silva still being manager.

Embarrassment FC.

There’s literally no excuses for him to still even be here at the club. If Koeman was the standard set for dismissal this clown should have went months back.

Double standards from Moshiri.
Moshiri likes him he is reluctant to sack him so he will making sure he finds the right man this time.

Imagine the training session today? Talk about dead man walking.

True but his players need a massive rollicking today they need some tough words said to them as they are as much to blame for Saturday as anyone they were just absolutely awful it was schoolboy defending.time for them to stand up and show they wanna play for this club

Its vital a new manager is in for the Chelsea game - under the GP lights with the fans roaring behind the new manager (should it be a positive appointment) we can beat Chelsea/Arsenal and take a point at Utd.

The club need to act soon if they only start looking after Leicester and RS maul us I despair.
