Even with a new manager, the overwhelmingly likely outcome is 2 losses, and then the new fella would be behind the 8 ball straight away.how? The new manager might get a result out of these games, Under Silva we will 100% lose these. Seems silly that they want him to get battered.
Almost every big team came to Goodison and got beat under Moyes management according to Carragher there.
OK Jamie, stick to gobbing in kids faces you clueless bellend.
They’ve all had 2 days off as a reward for that shambles on Saturday
He said that teams used to come to Goodison expecting a game, which is fair enough. They used to.
In the last 9 seasons under Moyes we picked up 75 points from a possible 162 against the top six, comprising the following record against the top six at Goodison.
P54 W21 D12 L21 - 75 / 162 points (1.38 points per game)
City - W7 D1 L1 - 22 / 27 points
Spurs - W3 D4 L2 - 13 / 27 points
Man Utd - W3 D3 L3 - 12 / 27 points
Chelsea - W3 D2 L4 - 11 / 27 points
Liverpool - W3 D1 L5 - 10 / 27 points
Arsenal - W2 D2 L5 - 8 / 27 points
In the last 5 years our record at Goodison vs the top six is:
P32 W6 D11 L15 - 29 / 96 points (0.90 points per game)
So it does feed into the narrative that over a long period, all the top sides got beat at least 2 or 3 times at Goodison under Moyes and we almost always made it a game. We certainly won / drew far more than we lost anyway. And, since Moyes, we've not been anywhere near as potent in the big games, which suggests Goodison is not as fearsome as it once was.

Of course the likely outcome is 2 losses even with the new manager but you still have a better chance than Silva still being manager.Even with a new manager, the overwhelmingly likely outcome is 2 losses, and then the new fella would be behind the 8 ball straight away.
Can see a certain logic in not making a change until after them... but it’s pretty hard nosed
True!they showed up a couple of times like but not muchWhole club’s been on a day off since August.
Agreed, but it may be a lot harder to get someone to agree to come straight into that mess of fixtures, for the reason I mentionedOf course the likely outcome is 2 losses even with the new manager but you still have a better chance than Silva still being manager.
TBH for months the whole management and squad could be cast for Shawn of the dead 2, oh add the board to that to. The whole hanging on is a joke.Imagine the training session today? Talk about dead man walking.
Moshiri likes him he is reluctant to sack him so he will making sure he finds the right man this time.Embarrassment FC.
There’s literally no excuses for him to still even be here at the club. If Koeman was the standard set for dismissal this clown should have went months back.
Double standards from Moshiri.
