Yeah. I can’t remember a manager in the modern PL era who has been under so much scrutiny wrt his job who managed to turn it around from here.

If he beats the RS it makes life difficult as I don’t think many fans want him here any more, but... he’d have beaten that shower.

Moyes took us pretty low in his 2nd season didnt he?

Kean £20mil rising to £27.5mil you mean?

Hes 19 and adapting...surely thats pretty obvious from his performances so far.

Doubt we would see much more of him till Jan...

Anyone else or just Richarlison and a teenager?

he's started 2 games mate and was more than sound in the wolves game which was arguably our best performance of the season and had a poor game like everyone against a decent sheff utd team

can keep banging on about his age etc but he's not been given the same chance as DCL etc

age is just a number in football, you're either good enough or you're not, we'll never know without giving him a fair crack

Up and down like a yo yo under Moyes
Almost certain we were 18/19th at Christmas one year.

Simon Davies getting a late 1-0 winner at Birmingham and the season changed.
Moyes didn’t have a pot to p1ss in, sell to buy, no billionaire owner and things were pretty bleak Even compared to Koeman before he joined.

Plus, he was very close to getting the hoof even after that.

This is what i mean, Moyes was indeed a yoyo for the first few years and sometimes it was a case of Kenwright just sticking by him and showing him loyalty.

He was 39 when he took over and rebuilt the squad over many years. Silva turned 42 in July and he and Brands are also rebuilding.

Poch i think finished 10th at the beginning as well.

Ive seen some really dire results and some shocking football over the years and maybe im more patient than most.

For me, i do look at the weird decisions he makes and wonder but at the same time were only 4 months into the season. Ive seen a lot of turnarounds over the years and with the backing of £££ in Jan i think he will get the players in we need.

I like Silva but if we could attract Gallardo or another proven winner at that top level id change him.

But sometimes you need to show some loyalty and patience to build something...

the difference being though moyes literally had to scrimp around for signings, some years not even making any and overall had a poor squad at the start

silva has been given a good ( not great ) squad and he just can't get any consistency going, they don't look like they are playing for him anymore either
