True, but look at City chasing a right back when clearly a centre back was needed to replace Kompany. Who decided they didnt? DoF or Pep? If there is no DoF then you can firmly blame pep, but because nobody knows, the blame is directed in at least two directions - Pep's and DoF's.

Again, cant disagree or agree because we dont know 100%, which is part of the problem IMO - Literally just my opinion because again we dont know.
If we dont have the DoF model then you can blame Silva's appointment at the owner/board. If Marcel does have a say on everything from recruitment POV then why didnt he block Silva joining? If he didnt have a say then what is the point in being there? Same with the manager, if he cant pick his players to fit the system then why is he even bothering?

My take on it is that the DoF picks the players and the manager 'coaches' them. We lost Gana and Zouma and brands didnt replace them adequately, now is that Silva's fault? No. Will Silva be sacked on the back of this contributing factor amongst other things? Yes.

Hence why Moyes who ran the club top to bottom from a managerial POV will NOT succeed at saving us if he joins.

Prob with this is mate, I fear this is down to the "acceptable loss" bollocks we have been fed. December is a write off in the clubs eyes.

Yet again we lose ground and the board, who are the only ones to point the finger at here, let it continue

I still, to this day, cannot believe that hasn't been called out at every opportunity to rip Moshiri et al apart. How, on earth, can you play in a competitive league and be ok with "expected losses"??

Remember when he dismantled United Arsenal and Chelsea at home as well as matching up to Liverpool home and away. Same with Koeman, took apart City like it was nothing. Both fired (probably) within 9 months of those games. There is something horribly wrong at Everton in the coaching staff, playing squad, and club culture.

Should be made clear to the board by the fans that Howe is unacceptable. This is literally making the Martinez, Koeman, Silva mistake all over again. Manager comes in from much smaller club at bottom end of prem, has zero respect from a spineless playing squad, has little support from the fans, gets overwhelmed by the expectation from the fan base, players throw him under a bus as soon as they start to get criticised, he gets fired. Rinse and repeat.

Nailed it mate.

We keep hearing Moshiri wants to make a Marquee Signing. Go and do it with the manager then, it’s the most important position at the club.
