The board need to take responsibility here.
Marco must be under extreme stress and pressure expecting the axe any time soon.
Hes never had to cope with this as far as I know.
Throw in a club of this size isn't helping.
Reminds me of Martinez last days this does.
And we all remember that 4_0 at the pit.
Spot on mate.

Abdication of responsibility by a bunch of turds.

AWWWWWWWWWWWW poor Marco, he's free to walk away if the stress is too much.

What is the genuine way to change the board? Do they have internal elections?
If a change must be made inevitable, then it must be pressed where it hurts them the most --> Finances. They wont care as long as they are sitting behind their desks and cashing in on the fame and fortune whilst the performances on the pitch continues to dive off a cliff. And if the voices that calls out for a change are heard, and if the board is proactive, then there will be a change. A change in board isnt the only option here.

Goodison will be empty once we're in the championship mate.

....we are in a mess but I doubt a sacking is imminent. i think Silva is lacking but from what I saw yesterday, he still has the players on his side, there’s nothing I see that suggests he’s lost the dressing room. I feared for us yesterday but we were competitive.

i wonder if the Board actually don’t want Unsworth as a caretaker, given how bad things got last time. They have few temporary options and might as well leave Silva in charge in case he can turn things around (he has a record of really good runs of results and really bad runs of results) and whilst they line up a permanent replacement.

Agree with all that....

Its gonna take time to replace Silva, think we would have sacked him during the international break if we could have appointed someone else...
Options for caretaker are Usworth, Big Dunc, and Boa Morte (has he been a terrible replacement for Joao Pedro Sousa btw?)... But generally you only go with a caretaker when you know its short term while you agree terms with the new manager... If we have no suitable manager lined up, a caretaker boss could become a disaster...

Either way, one thing is urgent right now... Transfer window opens in 4 weeks... We need to line up a defensive midfielder right now and sign him up Day 1 of the window, if its an extra 5 mill to do it on Day 1 so be it... The next manager is equally screwed if we dont address key positions in our team...

He'll get the sack for totally the wrong reason after we get stuffed on Wednesday. They won't sack him because he deserves it (which he absolutely does) or because they have a replacement sorted (I expect Rhino to be at the helm for at least a week after the sacking, while they blunder their way to hiring another dud manager). No, they'll sack him purely to avoid a venomous Goodison on Saturday against Chelsea because the people who run us are not just breathtakingly incompetent, they're complete and utter cowards.

There is not even a whiff of a replacement being looked at.
