Can't wrap my head around people making excuses for him and feeling sorry for him.

Don't think they watched the same game as me. They battered us. As soon as they equalised you just knew it was only going one way.

His decision to take Iwobi off and leave Davies and Sigurdsson on was baffling. He doesn't make things happen he reacts to things happening to us, like going behind. His in game management is the worst I've ever seen.

He's worse than Koeman was, and Koeman had the Europa league and the worst set of fixtures to start a season with.

Still stand my view that he should have been out the door after Millwall. Thanks to the incompetence of our board, he is still here and we are deep in the mess and after December I think we'll be cut adrift.

What about the fans Adam, it's okay having the players still playing for you (yet we're still getting beat, and still cack) but when it looks like you've lost the fans there is no coming back from that. I mean the end of that Norwich game was the worst reaction I've seen towards a manager at Goodison, Martinez and Koeman included, the anger was immense.

I remember similar reactions to both managers tbh. Although in the end, Martinez was more apathy. Koeman is a little more hazy but I remember things being toxic and we literally chased Big Sam out the door. So no, this isn't anything new.

Look mate, my post wasn't an advocation for him I was just pointing a couple of things out. Don't shoot the messenger and all that.

Two issues here:
1) Even if they "learned" something from Koeman sacking, they should have been sounding out replacements since late September. Again, absolutely no foresight whatsoever. Spurs sacked someone and later that day replaced him. Arsenal sacked their manager and had a "caretaker". Watford...well, they are shambolic but at least, again, THEY had foresight.

2) Don't you think that's a bigger issue? If they players are still "playing for him" and we still cannot find a way to win, doesn't that suggest the man setting them up has no idea what he is doing?

1. How do you know they're not? Spurs didn't just decided to sack Pochettino and then call up Mourinho who said 'yep', it will have been weeks if not months in the making. If Everton sacked Silva they'd have a caretaker within moments just like Arsenal. Watford have literally don't what you've complained about Everton doing

To be honest, I would rather have Silva in charge of the derby than Unsworth or Big Dunc!

We need to have the replacement in place. Rhino's tenure was absolutely shocking. Spurs managed the manage change perfectly - 3 wins out of 3.

Let's face it Marco is tactically naive, his nervous persona is less than inspiring and his sub choices are mind-boggling. I have no doubt he is a nice bloke but that itself is a handicap when dealing with inflated egos common in the modern player. The board has made this problem worse, indecision is deadly, looking for a replacement prepared to accept a DoF who is also a club director is a huge handicap of their design as well. It's right for Silva to be in charge of the derby, it has to be better than no manager, only just better I'd agree. As supporters fretting over what is happening to our once proud club that started the season with great expectations we must make our feelings known on Saturday if, as we expect, we get our bums kicked on Wednesday and Silva remains in charge. Quite simply enough is enough Marco, pack your kit bag and go home my friend you are a nice guy but a crap manager.
