By and large, a manager will spend money more wisely. He knows the blend he wants, and he wouldn't have to deal with some clueless agents puppet to get him his players.

"By and large" - not guaranteed. You are making massive assumptions here to suit your usual agenda. I`m not a massive fan of Moshiri and Steve Walsh was a disaster, but Brands has not been here that long and I think he's done a decent job. Everything is not black and white.
