It's not going to turn around. We should have sacked him end of last season as I said - the run of form when nothing mattered papered over massive cracks.

But we didn't, so you may as well give him to December now. Give him enough rope to hang himself with, because there's a run of games coming up where we'll be lucky to be in the top ten by the turn of the year.
 
We are giving away cheap easy goals mainly from set pieces...until that is rectified we will need to score 3 or more goals per game. We need a Mick Lyons...Dave Watson to sort that defense out and lead by example. Keane just hasn't got any umph in him and is so slow.

A manager of quality would have Mina an absolute rock at the back I feel. Keane for me isnt the answer going forward but I feel with managers like Martinez & Silva your defensive players will always be prone to mistakes when you a. Dont coach zonal marking right and b. Fanny around with it too much at the back.

Should have signed him for United then if he can just turn players into rocks, you know like Bailly, Lindelof, Jones and Smalling
 
What is the point of having Davies on the bench and not bringing him on when we were 2 down?
He must only have considered playing him if we had been 2 up
 

Usmanov, oops sorry Moshiri won't accept midtable mediocre performances for too long. I do think we've missed Gana more than many expected and who knows if Gbamim had stayed fit we may well have been in a far better position. But the butt stops at the managers door and if you analyse our 2 defeats we lost to inferior teams. Over to you Marco to explain.....
 

Silva has to see that we need to change our tactics away from home. It is not working so we need to bring the home team onto us and utilise Richarlisons and Iowobis speed and dare I say it Walcotts. Our midfielders need to keep an eye on Digne and Coleman and cover as necessary. Someone pointed it out that we need to defend more when away from home and polish up our counter. When Silva first came his strength was supposed to be fast counter attacks. Think he needs to go back to basics and plug all holes and get a good counter in action. At the moment we are vunerable at set pieces and home teams fully exploiting Coleman being caught too high.
 
Can't he just tell the players theres nothing to play for, just relax the seasons nearly over and we might actually go on a run
 
I remember the start of the season Sky were lording our current defensive record, past 14 games only City had conceded less I think it was.

WTF has happened to our defending again, both those CB's need benching after today but we can't because we have no quality cover, Delph had a shocker as well, by far his worst game for us.

It doesn't matter what the manager does when individuals defend like that and can't do the simple basics.
