Same question I asked the other day.

What possible reason would Jose have for joining a team that has no chance whatsoever of winning the league?

Hes a very good manager, but he cant perform miracles.

His next club will be a team that challenges, hes not going to risk his rep by joining a team thats still a few years away from competing.
I understand what you’re saying. However, FSW still went to Newcastle lol

He can only save his season by winning EFL Cup, if you are motivated enough you can easily dispatch teams with B squad. But I doubt it after what he pulled against the Saints at home last year.

That was last season and we’ve already had two games in the competition this season where we’ve played nearly a full strength team.

Let's hope it wasn't because he was forced to after bad results at PL, but because he believes he can win it.

Cool. Not sure what your point is. When he’s played this year, they’ve won and not conceded. When he hasn’t they’ve won once and lost twice. Just sharing some info.
My point is that winning games with PSG is hardly a barometer of somebody playing well or making a difference to a team that has been winning every domestic game they have played in recent years.

Not about just winning games. When he plays their results have been superior. It is what it is. Not saying it’s the only cause but the correlation is there. If you’re trying to pretend we don’t miss him massively in our midfield then you just have some sort of strange agenda. It’s pretty obvious.

It is entirely possible that we could be sitting in the relegation zone on Saturday night after having a very favourable set of fixtures and only having played just one top 6 side and 2 newly promoted.

That is how shambolic this season has been so far.

All we have to do to ensure that cannot happen is beat City.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry. Beam me up Scotty.

It's too early to be worrying about position #, We're only 6 games in.
When it gets to about 15ish games then I'd be worried if we're hovering around relegation or that area.

We miss him about the same as we miss Phil Neville.
