Are you seriously suggesting Gueye and Zouma aren't missed?

You can counter this by saying our manager should realise how big of a miss they are and figure out a different way of playing, though.

It works both ways.

You know I am partly on your side with Brands. I just don't like how Silva gets all of the blame. When we're doing well, they all take credit. When we're playing badly, they all have to take their share of the blame.

All good players, Dave.

Gbamin an unknown quantity but a decent prospect. Shame about his injury. Hopefully, we get to see the real player in him when he's back fully fit. Iwobi has been our best attacker this season really. Kean one of the best young players in Europe.

Again, I stress, it is not the signings we made that are the problem. It's the ones we didn't make.
I dont see that. They'd struggle to get into a Leicester team, never mind a top 6 team.

Overall lads and lasses: the season has just begun really. Not even into October yet.

Just play a watch and observe game from now until the end of autumn and then we'll know the shape of the season.

I see the green shoots of recovery.

As I say, my faith in Silva is based on last season's strong late showing. After all: IT DID HAPPEN. No one is trying to con anyone by basing their pov on this with zero evidence.

I am very impressed with his ability to get a team relegated and get the sack from his next job. He wasn't good enough for Watford and he's certainly not good enough for Everton.

I think if you look at the starting 11 today, this time next season. I can see, Coleman, M Kean, Schneiderlin, siggurdsson, DCL and obviously Walcott not being part of the team, maybe only a couple of them still at the club. Add Delph as more of a squad player and it shows how far we still have to go.

Been unlucky with the injuries to Gbamin & Gomes, while iwobi and Kean still finding their feet. Whether silva is still here or not, it just shows how much work Brands still has to do.

You can't know that with Gbamin. He simply hasn't played enough.

Iwobi. Hmm, I think he'd stand a good chance.

Kean? He's one of the brightest prospects in Europe. He has a lot to his game. But he's 19. He shouldn't have been lumped with all of the pressure.

I think the reaction to this, will tell us what Silva is really made of imo.The form at the moment just doesn't cut it.I don't think his job is in danger yet.But the longer this slide continues, the harder it will be to turn it around. This recent run of results, is just not good enough for Everton football club.

So just another seven players to be brought in on top of the cash spent in the last two summers. I wouldn't trust Silva to serve the Bovril at half time, let alone take responsibility for this football club.

And now he needs a result against Dyche's Burnley a group of thugs who play hoofball and defend with every man, Good luck Marco m8.

I didn’t say that, 4 of the players I mentioned didn’t start today. And silva doesn’t buy the players
