2019/20 Marco Silva

The defiance from him is actually infuriating . If he would put as much effort into motivating the side as he does into defending his own record, we might not be in this mess.

The fact he wont be sacked is pretty telling. 2 years ago slightly better results were deemed unacceptable and Koeman was sacked. Now we've fallen even further and they've essentially given up. Unless we go down they aren't arsed. Stadium is all they are worried about.

They will sack if we don't win our next two games back. Because then we're in real danger.

My argument would be that's utterly pointless as we might as well do it now while there's some time left for a new coach to do something with this season.

We are relegation fodder with this manager unless he has his first-choice XI fit. Which can't be sustained.

Yet people ridicule Moyes suggestions.

If we sack Silva, all we’ll do is appoint someone else who isn’t up to the job.

They ridicule it because of how Moyes left, the problem is he had the right set up defensively but other managers tried to do away with it for a style that was not suited for the defenders we had/have and we’ve suffered for it

Can you define 'actual defending' for me? Is it like you tell a defender who is on $50,000 a week to 'actual defend'....... :coffee:

If you need it defined then it shows how clueless you are, we don’t have the defenders for zonal/man marking we have defensive players who should have the nounce to not be beaten in the air by smaller or less equipped players at set plays, it’s not rocket science

We were sitting 11th in Jan and Moshiri said 11th wasn't good enough.

The most infuriating things for me are...

4231
Set piece defending
Complete lack of tactical and game management. He doesn't seem to prepare for each opponent differently and certainly doesn't react properly during a game.

I think you need a lie down mert.

It's unreal that all of our past 3 managers will NOT change it when things aren't going our way and it's gotten them the sack because they are stubborn clowns.
The problems are glaringly obvious apart from the man who makes the final deicsion.
Baffling, Teams don't even have to play good to beat us anymore that's just how bad it's gotten.

It has to be now. We can still retrieve the situation. If they wait for our whole season to be wrecked after 3 or 4 more games then Brands is part of the problem. The whole stench of failure and mediocrity is so frustrating.

They sacked Koeman at this stage because they thought his results were unacceptable. Silva has done worse. So why are they treating him differently? Why have they dropped their standards? Why are we regressing so quickly despite money?

If only the board worried about these issues as much as the off field progress.

If he really has been given three more games, that speaks volume about our ambitions as a club.

Starting to think Moshiri will drag us down and we will end up like Leeds really soon. We are a mess and God (or whoever) help us if we mess up another managerial appointment.

Where’s it been said that?
