We've gone backwards since Kenwright rocked up...we've gone even further backwards under Moshiri.

We were heading into the abyss, twice, under Agent Johnson, we improved our standing under Kenwright significantly on the pitch but were held back off it. Moshiri’s legacy atm is failed management but that is something that can and will be fixed

Please explain how we are in a better situation NOW?

and...how will it be fixed? :coffee:

Silva is fast running out of rope now.To be closer to the relegation zone, than the top six, is just totally unacceptable.Especially with Man United Chelsea and Arsenal in rebuilding mode.If there were trophies handed out for making a mess of things, and wasting opportunities, then post 1995 Everton would win them by the bucket load.

But there's no point in sacking Silva, if the brains trust is to going to replace him with another dud who relegated a side.I think we're going to be stuck with Silva for another couple of games. But i would presume and hope that the board, are sourcing and sounding out suitable replacements.Make no mistake about it.The knives are out for Silva as of now imo.

It's right to ridicule Moyes shouts though.

He's a busted flush.

We need to appoint a good manager. There's plenty out there. All we really need is a manager with a Plan B and Plan C. Y'know, someone who is tactically adept and not completely hopeless which, unfortunately, Silva has proved himself to be.

We could be bottom three tomorrow and deservedly so.
People said the same about Roy Hodgson and Pelligrini

For starters we can afford to buy players without necessarily needing to sell, we once went 2 years without making an actual cash signing

Secondly we have an owner who can wipe clean debts almost as soon as we can accrue them

We’ve had increased sponsor and partnership deals

The one big mistake is the choice of managers but he’s been quick to rectify that each time, now with a DoF in his involvement is limited

So here we are on the verge of yet another Everton manager facing the sack. Managers live and die by results and the present run of results is unacceptable so he'll have to go.

Then we have to start again with another manager, give him time to bed in and get in the players he wants, which means more uncertainty lies ahead.

Getting sick of this now as we have missed any stability since the Moyes era.

The biggest problem during his time at the club was massive under investment. There must be something seriously wrong at Everton when we now have serious money invested yet have fallen further and further behind with finishing 8th seen now as a relative success. Not sure what that is, but someone needs to be recruited who will change attitudes at the club from top to bottom and reinstall a winning mentality in the players.

Over to you Brands.
