We were heading into the abyss, twice, under Agent Johnson, we improved our standing under Kenwright significantly on the pitch but were held back off it. Moshiri’s legacy atm is failed management but that is something that can and will be fixed
I’m not sure it can be fixed. There is a stench about the club like Sunderland where it doesn’t matter what you do, you get the same results.

It has to be now. We can still retrieve the situation. If they wait for our whole season to be wrecked after 3 or 4 more games then Brands is part of the problem. The whole stench of failure and mediocrity is so frustrating.

They sacked Koeman at this stage because they thought his results were unacceptable. Silva has done worse. So why are they treating him differently? Why have they dropped their standards? Why are we regressing so quickly despite money?

If only the board worried about these issues as much as the off field progress.

FWIW IIRC they sacked Koeman at the end of October. Which is why I have a feeling they'll try and stick with Silva.

I do want him to turn it around. I'm just seeing no signs he can and, like you say, it's now or never in terms of being able to get something out of the season.

No matter what happens now Silva is not going to get the majority of fans back on side. He is always goin to be one bad result away from people calling for his head again.
Best thing to do now is pull the plug and hope to get the next appointment right.
But that's a risk too.

Dunno what is expected his points per match at Hull was 1.23, Watford 1.12 and this season its 1.25 at Everton if anything he seems pretty consistent.

We’ve never had a top manager since 1995 not one that’s had any success competing at the top of the premier league anyway, no wonder the club tried to bin NSNO in 2013 :pint2:

So here we are on the verge of yet another Everton manager facing the sack. Managers live and die by results and the present run of results is unacceptable so he'll have to go.

Then we have to start again with another manager, give him time to bed in and get in the players he wants, which means more uncertainty lies ahead.

Getting sick of this now as we have missed any stability since the Moyes era.

The biggest problem during his time at the club was massive under investment. There must be something seriously wrong at Everton when we now have serious money invested yet have fallen further and further behind with finishing 8th seen now as a relative success. Not sure what that is, but someone needs to be recruited who will change attitudes at the club from top to bottom and reinstall a winning mentality in the players.

Over to you Brands.

To be honest i'd love to see the board, go after someone like Mourinho, or at least someone of that ilk. This club has gone stale and sterile imo.We badly need a manager that will change the whole mindset of the club.People will say that people like Mourinho aren't realistic options, but our last couple of managers last employers before Everton, were Preston Wigan Southampton and Watford.

I think that shows the problem, we've hired our last couple of managers from small clubs. While im a big fan of Chris Wilder, and Eddie Howe has built himself a decent reputation, we need to try and get a manager who will make people, sit up and take notice, that Everton mean business again. As you say, over to you Moshiri and Brands.
