Eight games in.

I see the concern and recognise it. However, it's early. Any decision is not being made unless we lose both the next two. I feel sure of that.

Uppermost in the latitude they'll give Silva is what he had to contend with this summer: late arrivals, sales of his players, left him short at CB.

WHU and BHA games will sort this out one way or the other. 4 from the 6 and he's sticking around. If we get less than that I believe he's on thin ice. I would not hold him responsible for the whole situation though. The DoF has made these changes since last season when we were flying, and he carries the can also. I'd punt him too. He;s wasted £200M since he came in.

Brands has wasted 200 million?

That a serious point?

So digne , richarldson, Bernard, gomes , Kean aren't an improvement on

Niasse, mirallas, bolasie, baines , schniederlin?

If you genuinely believe that then we deserve to be in the bottom three with that way of thinking

Koeman was sacked because we were in the relegation zone.

We had 1 point from nine and were all but out when Koeman was sacked. PL points were the priority.

Funny how you now have different standards.

We cant carry on with the 18 month manager routine. It is killing us with costs...the compo and contract and the churn in players.

We need to make a stand. Weather this. That takes a bit of maturity and character from fans as well as owners.

Not to mention the person who hires these managers, gives them lengthy contracts, and then sacks them in a blink of an eye gets off Scott free. In most lines of work if you kept sacking the people 'you' hired and results hadn't improved throughout your numerous hirings, you might question your approach, but apparently we're happy to be a joke of a club who burn through money like it's going out of fashion without going anywhere at all.

Yup. We were threatened with falling into it with an absolute gash squad.

We've now fallen into it with a good squad.

I remember the discussions on the difference between forum members who go to the games and those who don't. I have joined the don't goes for bad health reasons. It is weird but I don't miss the games at all. Not going to the matches anymore does change your outlook. The rage or joy either way is replaced by indifference, I don't really care anymore. Except my kids are delighted as I pay for their tickets. I am sorry for them though and hope Everton for their sake find a way through this mess. Liverpool and Klopp still upset me though.

It's not happening on the pitch. Silva is making zero attempts to improve or change tactically to show anyone he's the "right man".

Christ even Koeman threw the kitchen sink in when things were getting choppy with Niasse who he absolutely despised.

Hmm.

We've been tosh for a while now. Results and performances improved when the season was already over, last season. Back to the norm this season.

Don't think a sacking would be as knee jerk as you or Dave suggest.

Digne is. The rest: are you happy with their performances? Easily pleased if so. Look where we are.
