"Striker" - is that what you call him. He's like Barndoor Barlow.

I cannot understand how the club employs Kean, Richarlison, Tosun and DCL, 4 strikers with different skillsets who can all offer something different, and have shown they can score outside of Everton...

Yet cannot hit a cows backside here.

Sigurdsson, Iwobi and Bernard should be a threat too.

Something is very wrong somewhere.

This side might not be top 6 quality, but it is far stronger than bottom 6 material.
And that is current bottom 3 off the back of an easy fixture schedule.

My view is it will take quite some time, possibly six transfer windows, before we see a team capable in breaking into the top four. Buying quickly risks buying poor players. I rather we take our time and select the right players. For this reason I won't attack Brands or Silva.
Idk. I think we’ve got a good chance at top 4 next year...In the championship.

Im not having a pop, but by your own admission you have seen about 5 mins of us play this season, yet feel qualified to comment on formations and player performance ?

Genuinely don't get it.

So far this season I have seen the highlights on MOTD2 vs Wolves.

And that's it.

Other commitments have seen me miss the games at the start of the season, followed by a complete lack of interest in watching something that is going to make me depressed.

Life throws up and downs at us every day, but I don't need overpaid soccerballers confirming all that is wrong with the world currently.

I want Everton to succeed. But we have been on this carousel of chaos for decades and it never gets any better. If anything the more hope we have, the worse it gets.

At what point do you simply walk away.
Not from Everton as such, but from this overpriced, gambling encouraging, certain team favouring, corporate mess that is the modern game.

Tactics and management. Oh and a weak complacent mentality from top to bottom

His attitude even before the window ended: he looked resigned to an uphill struggle: talking up the losses. It's hard to support that.

But just on Leicester: look at their acquisitions and look at ours. They bought well; they bought players to fill particular roles and blend. Brands should hold his head in shame.
Respectfully disagree there on the signings mate. Besides tielemens Leicester didnt do all that much in the summer, perez an expensive flop so far. Their players are just stepping up, tuyuncu has been class at the back, Madison arguably the best midfielder in the league outside city this season. They're playing a system that suits their players, dont think we do the same or make the tactical changes when it becomes clear it's not working. Sigurdsson being our pivot and persisting with him when hes clearly struggling is doing us mo favours. Would love to see us go with 2 up top, 2 wide, gomes in front of delph for west ham but silva is so predictable it's a pointless conversation. 4231. Groundhog day.

Absolutely, 1000000% the above. How the manager cannot get a tune out of any of those players is a mystery. He's proven himself unable to take us anywhere near where we want to be, and ought to be dismissed as a result before he takes us any further away from our goal.

What's needed here is the picture of the Everton delegation heading out to speak to a few managers.....I'll wait for it to be posted before I believe a managerial move is being made.

He deserves more time, some people say.Nah i reject that argument, in the bottom three after such an easy opening run of fixtures, is a sackable offence in my opinion. Not to mention the dire football, and lack of fight in the team. You know it's bad when you wake up, eagerly awaiting news that the manager has been fired.Truth be told, Silva should have been turfed out on his hole after that Millwall game.
